Confirmation of Participation form

• A demo was provided of the new online CoP that is being used for non-family medicine clinics doing consults only.
• We are starting development work for a version that will also work for primary care clinic clinics with a panel since there is so many similarities between the forms.

EMR Updates

• Telus CHR
  • Data still flowing to the test environment.
  • New documents in Resources Centre.
• Telus Wolf
  • Clinics migrating to any new EMR within 3 months will be encouraged to wait to implement CII/CPAR.
  • Confirmation of Participation forms will NOT be accepted after September 1. 
  • During September, eHealth will review all in-progress Wolf implementation to decide if they will continue to progress to live or if they will be permanently paused.
  • Provider changes will be accepted until December 2023.

I’m the Panel Manager and my clinic is now live on CII/CPAR. Where do I start?  

• Many people find it overwhelming at the start, so you aren’t alone.
• Resources to help:
  • Tap into a practice facilitator if you have one in your PCN.
  • Use the Learn@AMA platform to review the curriculum called "CII/CPAR: Go-Live and Beyond". It covers how to get on to the CPAR online portal, how to download and interpret Demographic Mismatch and Conflict Reports.
  • Start with addressing demographic mismatches because that is within your clinic’s control. There is the "Demographic Mismatch Reports" course which takes only 9 minutes to complete.
  • For conflicts, check out the "Panel Conflicts Report" course which takes only 12 minutes to complete and includes a fax template in the course material.

What is CII/CPAR Connect?  

CII/CPAR Connect is a regular meeting for anyone needing support with CII/CPAR and aims to support those implementing CII/CPAR by creating a forum to connect and ask questions.
 

Meetings run monthly, typically on the third Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m.You can choose to attend any one meeting or all of them.
