Measles case numbers
Measles cases continue to occur in Alberta; please check the Measles | Alberta.ca page for the most up-to-date information on case numbers and geographic distribution.

Provincial Adult Otolaryngology Referral Pathway update
The Provincial Adult Otolaryngology Referral Pathway has been updated with the following: 
  • New reason for referral: “Smell Dysfunction (>12 weeks).” This reason for referral includes conditions like anosmia, hyposmia, phantosmia, etc. Please see the Provincial Adult Otolaryngology Referral Pathway for details. 
  • New information about audiograms: Clarification has been added on the type of audiograms required: “full diagnostic audiological assessment (screening not sufficient).”
