  • 1,017 clinics are live—surpassing a significant adoption milestone of 1,000 clinics

Updates

New Report: CPAR Panel List Available Soon

A new Panel List Report will be available in the CPAR Online Portal (CSV format) for authorized Panel Admins. It lists all paneled patients, including PHN, issuing authority (e.g., AB, SK), ID type, DOB, and gender, and is an important tool for addressing conflicts.

Thanks to the eHealth team for this valuable new CPAR feature!

Conflict Updates

With nearly 90% of paneling physicians on CII/CPAR, AMA-ACTT and Physician Leads Executives encourage renewed efforts to reduce conflict rates. All providers on CPAR are expected to work with their teams to reduce conflicts.
Explore new resources for PCPCM and the Provincial Conflict Statistics section for the monthly Conflicts Dashboard.

Q&A Highlight

Q: What if the patient has valid reasons for dual attachment (e.g., seasonal work far from home)?
A: This may qualify as appropriate dual-attachment. In such cases:

  • Unless outlined as a clinic policy, do not proceed with resolving the panel conflict
  • Notify the paneling provider at the clinic that dual attachment may be appropriate and document the clinic and provider’s name where the patient is receiving additional care
  • Paneling provider should review patient's Netcare and can speak to patient about their care to minimize duplication and coordinate care

What is CII/CPAR Connect?
