If you are a rural family physician or general practitioner with a clinical practice outside of Edmonton or Calgary, consider an active role in profession-led regulation by joining CPSA’s Competence Committee!

Competence Committee members provide direction and guidance on the development, implementation and evaluation of CPSA’s quality improvement and quality assurance programs, making recommendations to CPSA’s Council about general assessments, competence assessments, continuous professional development and more. Two vacancies are currently available—find out more about this opportunity.

Participation in a CPSA Committee is an excellent way to gain valuable experience in leadership and governance, while positively impacting health care in Alberta. Please submit your application and any questions you may have through CPSA's website. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 7.
