MD Financial Management can help with more than
RRSP and TFSA contributions

The following message is issued on behalf of our partner, MD Financial Management.

As a physician, saving for retirement is different for you than for most other professionals. On top of that, many physicians have made adjustments, personally and professionally, because of the pandemic and its ongoing impact on the health care system.

Did you know?
One in five physicians has delayed savings contributions because of the pandemic.1

Is your investment plan still on track to achieve your retirement goals?

Community Connections

This month, the following is available for your consideration:

Micropsychosocial effect of accounting: health care context
This PhD dissertation survey for Dr Makini McGuire-Brown explores policy and physician-patient-related decision-making through an anonymous online survey containing a series of 10 medical cases featuring common medical illnesses. It does not directly test clinical knowledge and will take approximately 30 minutes or less to complete. Physicians are invited to participate to contribute to the gathering of knowledge about how policies affect work! Please direct questions to makinidm@yorku.ca. Study approved by the REB of York University (STU 2022-134).

Accessibility of CT: Survey to identify underserved populations in rural Alberta
Physicians who practice emergency medicine in rural communities are invited to participate in a survey that aims to identify gaps in surgical care resulting from variable access to computed tomography (CT) in rural areas. Responses will help identify facilities where the demand for CT exceeds existing service levels, understand how this affects emergency departments and the perceived impact on patient outcomes. Study approved: U of C (REB22-0275) and U of A (Pro00122198).
